The material

The Collar and The Crossbody Leash use a PU (polyurethane) outer material, finished with gold-tone hardware and the Mituu signature. The Mituu Set brings the same two pieces together.

PU is a synthetic material.

A gentle clean

1. Brush away loose dirt with a soft, dry cloth.
2. Wipe lightly with a soft cloth dampened with lukewarm water. For a small mark, try a little mild soap diluted in water, first on a hidden area.
3. Remove any soap with a clean, slightly damp cloth. Pat the strap and hardware dry, then allow to air dry fully before use.

Keep it simple

Do not soak, machine wash, tumble dry or iron. Avoid bleach, alcohol, solvents, abrasive brushes, leather oils, conditioners and polish. Keep away from radiators, hairdryers, prolonged direct sunlight and swimming in salt or chlorinated water.

If a piece gets wet, dry it gently and let it air dry. We do not describe the collection as waterproof. Keep light colours away from wet denim and other materials that may transfer colour.

Between walks

Store clean and completely dry in a cool, ventilated place. Keep the strap loosely laid or coiled, without sharp folds or heavy objects on top. Wipe hardware with a soft, dry cloth.

Before every walk

Choose by your dog’s neck measurement and check the fit, stitching, buckle and clasps before every walk. Stop using a piece if it is damaged or a fastening does not close securely.

For supervised walking. Do not use for tethering, lifting or vehicle restraint, or leave on an unattended dog. These pieces are not chew toys.

Check that your dog cannot slip out of the collar while allowing room for two fingers comfortably beneath it. Fit and suitability matter more than breed suggestions. For strong pullers, ask a qualified trainer or vet about a suitable harness and walking setup; do not rely on these accessories as training or safety equipment.

With a crossbody leash, ensure you can manage your dog’s movements and release the clasps safely. Keep the lead clear of wheels, doors and other snag points.
